With a strong focus on the New Zealand market and continued growth, there is a need for an outstanding Sales Manager with a strong business development background to come on board and lead the team of high performing Sales Engineers.
Reporting to the Managing Director of ANZ based in Melbourne, the New Zealand Sales Manager will be required to lead a team of Sales Engineers and support team members to achieve and deliver strong business results across New Zealand. Developing and implementing a strong sales strategy including a sales plan is your strength. You will pro-actively identify new business opportunities to grow sales and identify new revenue streams as well as develop existing relationships.
Your proven experience in leading from the front will be instrumental in the company's continued success and the development of the team around you as they progress their careers within the business. You will lead regular sales and team meetings, formulating and implementing action plans, creating a challenging yet rewarding and open work environment. You will also be adept at conducting regular reviews with major customers to establish the current business relationships and to set agreed objectives to achieve mutual goals and opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will ideally have a strong track record working within the automation industry with a thorough understanding of pneumatics and/or Electrical or Mechanical knowledge. You are currently employed in a people management position and have a dedicated record of personal sales performance as well as being responsible for leading a sales team to exceed budgets and empowering and developing talent to drive a high-performance culture. You will have a proven professional history of building engaging and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally with an ability to deliver outstanding levels of customer service. Above all you are passionate and have the required drive to improve the organisation you work in.
