They currently seek a dynamic and technically minded National Sales Manager in Wellington to further develop and implement their equipment and product sales nation-wide.
Reporting to the CEO and Group Sales and Marketing Manager in Australia, the NZ National Sales Managers responsibility will require you to manage a dynamic set of responsibilities. You will lead and manage a strong team of sales account managers across the country towards targeted growth and development of the client portfolio. Your proven experience in developing, leading and motivating sales teams will assist you in delivering the retention, development and growth of the sales force. Your contribution is key to achieve growth, revenue and profit objectives. As a key member of the management team, your remit will involve developing and implementing a strong sales strategy and working collaboratively with the management team to optimise this strategy. Key account management relationships will be further enhanced with strong relationship management and a long term win win sales approach via determining and anticipating their requirements. Your experience in managing a revenue stream will ensure profit growth through the identification, development and execution of appropriate opportunities. You will provide operational management in line with the strategic direction of the company, input to the company's strategy, and implementation of the strategy.
The Successful Applicant
You are currently employed in a Sales Management capacity within the packaging sector or the food manufacturing, small goods or food processing equipment market. You have a dedicated track record of sales through these sectors. Relationships and experience within these will position you well in providing the correct sales methodology and direction in managing external stakeholder relationships. This will also give you the freedom to lead and take advantage of the considerable opportunities in this sphere. You will relish spending time out in the trade as well as formulating and implementing strategic plans at a head office level. You are a collaborative manager with a proven history of engaging, managing and influencing relationships with senior level stakeholders. You are currently responsible for analysing sales performance, preparation of forecasts and strategic sales plans, as such commercial and business acumen will be essential. Above all you are driven to over achieve targets that are set through the development and leadership of effective sales teams.
