About Our Client
Our client is one of the world's leading FMCG companies, offering iconic and global brands to the market. They pride themselves on innovation, new product development and have many products in category leading positions. They are now seeking an experienced Junior Key Account Manager who is career focused and looking for progression.
Reporting to the Key Account Manager for PEL you will be responsible for managing their Alternate channel and PEL customers as well as providing support to the national accounts. The key function will be to achieve and execute financial targets for all accounts through customer and business management. You will also be responsible for agreeing annual promotional planning activities and managing all brand / SKU pricing for the accounts in line with the company's pricing guidelines, while continuing to identify new sales opportunities
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will currently be employed in either an Account Executive, Account Management or Category role within the FMCG industry. Strong analytical skills and a detailed understanding of trade marketing and category will be an absolute must as is knowledge of Aztec and AC Nielsen. You will be heavily customer facing in this role and therefore require excellent presentation and high level negotiation skills as well as being very commercially astute
