About Our Client
My client is a leading manufacturing company with facilities based nationally across New Zealand who pride themselves on a top quality product for the New Zealand Building Industry.
This role will be based in the Warehousing/Distribution centre in Auckland. You will be responsible for contributing to the success of the H&S of the business through the implementation of systems, change management and raising staff awareness and undertaking regular tool box talks and training's in order to improve staff knowledge. you will report into the National Health and Safety Manager and you will work closely and proactively with the Operations Manager within the distribution centre.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate:
- Relevant H&S qualification
- Sound understanding of H$S legislation
- Good systems and process skills
- Clear communication skills
- 3+ years experience in a H&S role
