Reporting in to the GM of Retail & Food Service (based in Sydney) the Head of Sales role for NZ is an important part of the senior management group. You will manage 7 reports across the Nth Island of NZ which will likely grow as the business secures wider market share. You will develop and maintain an efficient customer focused team that can excel at their necessary functions and assist you to drive the business forward. There is outstanding scope for growth in the market, you will be instrumental in capitalising on this and developing opportunities for new business across NZ. You will develop long term strategic direction and detailed annual plans, whilst managing costs in line with the financial budgets. Managing local logistics solutions and relationships with logistics suppliers as well as ensuring the correct channels are being maximised will also be an important aspects of the role. Having previously developed and implemented pricing strategy and promotional activity you will hit the ground running.
The Successful Applicant
As a proven leader within FMCG you will either be looking for that next opportunity to step up into a Head of Sales capacity or already be at that level and are looking for that next exciting growth role to sink your teeth into within in a very successful organisation.
- Strong FMCG sales experience
- Ideally experience across both foodservice and grocery in sales
- P&L Management, strong financial acumen
