They're looking for either an experienced Customs Supervisor who is looking to continue on in leadership or a Customs Broker who has experience supervising or leading others and is looking for the next step in their career. Providing day-to-day leadership of the Customs team and supporting the Customs Manager, this is a key operational role in the business. You'll be in charge of training, leading and upskilling a team of customs brokers, as well as managing and improving team KPIs. You'll also be responsible for increasing service levels to clients, and assisting to manage the department's PNL.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will need to have their customs PIN (this is an absolute must), and will ideally have experience within the international freight industry. It would also be beneficial to either come from a Customs or freight leadership background, either having formally led teams or to be looking for that next step up. You'll need to have exceptional communication skills, strong leadership abilities, have a great attitude and work ethic, and be looking for a role with real responsibility within a business.
