With increased growth and market opportunities, they are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their Commercial team based in their Head Office in Hamilton.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for building sustainable relationships with client accounts whilst simultaneously identifying new sales opportunities for the business. Joining the team during an exciting period of growth, you will be integral in handling all customer enquiries and demonstrating your extensive product knowledge to offer effective solutions and ultimately ensuring a smooth transaction. You will be at the forefront of all customer interactions, where you will also be required to process a high volume of specialised sales orders and provide timely updates to create a positive customer experience.
In addition to this, you'll be responsible for implementing new or improved systems and procedures to increase overall efficiency and track customer analytics. It is imperative that you have commercial acumen to influence and challenge key stakeholders as the role will draw on your ability to build solid relationships within the business. Your proactive approach and solutions driven nature will see you effectively working with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring that all targets are not only met, but exceeded.
The Successful Applicant
You will have a proven customer support background within a fast paced B2B environment where you can demonstrate the value and quantifiable impact that your recommendations and implementations have had on the overall performance of your past businesses. Your comprehensive understanding of the industrial manufacturing market will make you a trusted point of reference for both the internal team and external clientele. You will have a solid understanding of ERP and CRM systems and practices (ideally IQMS), in addition to a strong competency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v look ups) to create and manipulate customer data.
You will possess the work ethic to work autonomously in a fast paced environment to deliver high standards for every aspect of your multifaceted role.
