About Our Client
Our client is a leading and influential publication and media company in New Zealand and operates across a global platform. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on growing one of the groups digital platforms.
Reporting into the National Sales Manager you will be working closely with them to identify new opportunities in the market by developing creative, traditional and non-traditional advertising ideas in conjunction with the National Sales Manager. You will develop and maintain key business relationships with advertising agencies and clients within your field in order to maximise advertising revenue. You will also be responsible for providing strategic direction for development and growth of the existing client base as well as providing sales budgets and action plans ensuring these are profitable all while working closely with the National Sales Manager.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a pure hunter who is not afraid of getting out there and looking for new opportunities and in turn, building successful relationships. The client is looking for someone who has an ability to be able to think outside the box when it comes to delivering new solutions and strong problem solving and presentation skills are also very desirable. Knowledge of Google Ad-Words and SEO's would also be desirable though not essential.
