About Our Client
Our client is a young software company focused on helping those working in the building and commercial property sectors to work with the new Health and Safety legislation, keep as many people safe as possible, whilst helping to raise the standards of those involved for the betterment of the industry and its participants. They are an app based solution that provides property owners confidence that their contractors are safe and compliant on site.
The role is a new position within the company and therefore commencing as a 9 month contract with a high likelihood of going permanent for the right candidate. As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for working with pre-existing customers as well as having a strong focus on developing new business in a variety of ways. Working with pre-qualified leads to generate new customers and revenue, while using your proven skills in business development to acquire new leads by cold calling or referrals from users. Working through a pre-existing pipeline dealing with the likes of contractors, developers, property managers and property owners to generate new customers.
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you must be passionate and have a genuine interest in people's welfare and well-being as well as have an interest not only in property, but software. Your experience in relationship building will be essential to your success in developing new business and will help you to gain new customers and revenue. Above all you must be a confident and proactive hunter, able to act and follow up on leads.
