Business Development Manager
About Our Client
Our client is the market leader in fleet vehicle leasing and management. Established for over 25 years they currently have a number of offices across New Zealand offering a diverse range of solutions from finance, leasing, rentals and vehicle sales. Due to the exponential growth they are experiencing they now require a Business Development Manager to cover the South Island based out of Christchurch
Reporting to the National Business Development Manager, this is an autonomous role focusing on growing sales and building relationships. The role will have a strong emphasis on new business development to help grow the business throughout the South Island. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets and negotiating commercially sound contracts for new and existing customers as well as gathering insights from customers and feeding back to the business.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will ideally have strong pre-existing relationships within the automotive / fleet leasing industry or come from a sales position within the finance industry. A proven track record in developing and implementing sales strategy and growing and developing new business is crucial to success in the role. Honesty and integrity are key attributes required as there is a strong emphasis on culture and longevity in the business.
