Contracts & Assurance Manager - ICT - Big 4 bank, Auckland

The Michael Page Procurement team was faced with a challenging role – one that their client, a multinational bank, had been looking to fill for almost a year. The right professional required a mix of commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills and professional services background. It had proven difficult to locate a suitable professional who fulfilled all requirements.

By partnering with the Global Opportunities team, Michael Page Procurement was able to identify a qualified candidate who was a New Zealand citizen based in the UK. Until approached by Michael Page, the candidate was not actively looking to return to Auckland. After meeting with the client, he was offered and accepted the role.

Inventory Planning Specialist - Medical device manufacturer, Auckland

The Michael Page Global Opportunities team met with an Inventory Planning Specialist who was travelling from France to Auckland on a working holiday visa. The candidate was interviewed by the Michael Page Supply Chain team upon arrival to New Zealand, who were impressed with his background and experience.

The Michael Page Supply Chain team proactively pitched the professional to one of our existing clients, part of a large healthcare and pharmaceutical company, due to relevant knowledge of global medical device manufacturing and distribution. Upon our recommendation, he was hired on a six month contract basis.
