Job Description
Due to growth, Synthes are looking to recruit an experienced medical sales professional to work with the rest of the team to manage a portfolio of hospitals and surgeons within a given territory. This intense period of training will provide you with the essential information to ensure you become a competent and confident Synthes Sales Consultant. This position is a "trainee role" where you will spend the first 12-18 months working very closely with your team to be trained effectively to eventually manage your own territory. The successful candidate after training will have full sales responsibility for the territory, they will actively source new business opportunities as well as continue to build and leverage the strong existing relationships they have in the area.

The Successful Applicant

A minimum of three years sales experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals, medical devices or hospital capital equipment is preferred. You will ideally possess:

• A Bachelor of Science Degree.
• Experience in medical device sales, pharmaceutical sales or be from a clinical background (e.g. Physiotherapist)
• An excellent understanding of physiology, or a background in a medical field.
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
• Natural relationship building skills.
