Job Description
You will be responsible for an assigned territory consisting of an established client base. Lexis Nexis possesses a successful track record regionally and has an impressive portfolio of large corporate clients in NZ. You will leverage this success in managing the existing clients, while building new business within law firms, professional services, government, law enforcement, tax, accounting, and academic sectors. Your proven business development experience will assist you in qualifying and targeting the most appropriate decision makers within the market. You will also create and identify new business opportunities within an existing account portfolio. Your demonstrated experience in managing, and partnering with key clients, will position you well in delivering a consultative solution sales and service approach that supports the company’s Total Solutions strategy. Your experience in engaging, establishing and managing relationships with senior level stakeholders and business owners will ensure you are well positioned to grow the territory’s market share by driving productivity and achievement of desired sales targets. Your proven account management strengths will enable you to play a pivotal role in enhancing these relationships and provide further value-add to our client base.
The Successful Applicant
You possess a successful sales track record within the corporate services sector. It will be advantageous to possess relevant sales experience within the information services and / or software solutions sectors. You have a demonstrated history in managing and growing accounts while consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets. You demonstrate a proven ability to sell complex products in a solutions sales capacity and have a history in consistently meeting and exceeding revenue and profit targets. You enjoy the challenge of creating new business development opportunities within both a new and existing client base.
