About Our Client
Our client is a leading, publicly listed manufacturer with a diverse number of product lines and services throughout Asia-Pacific. This exciting organisation is experiencing high volumes of growth and have recently gone through a series of mergers and acquisitions. As a result of the growth, the New Zealand operation is looking for a qualified and experienced Company Accountant to join the team.
Job Description
Reporting to the Financial Controller; you will be responsible for managing a small team and will take ownership of the financial accounting and management reporting responsibilities. In this 'hands on' role, you will work with business unit managers to prepare month end statutory accounts and report on budgets, forecasts and cashflow for three arms of the business. You will have experience managing CAPEX and fixed assets and be able to manage ad-hoc analysis for Senior Management.
The Successful Applicant
As the 'right hand' to the Financial Controller, you will have experience in a similar role where have been involved in both the preparation of statutory accounts and preparation of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis. You will be confident in translating results and providing sound recommendations to the business. You will be CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) and have experience working with complex ERP systems.
