Job Description

This is a newly created role that can be based either on the beautiful island of Fiji or in sunny Brisbane, where you will assume responsibility for the existing operations in the Pacific regions. With the CTO's of the 6 islands reporting to you, the role will be two fold including roll out of new GSM networks as well as optimization of the existing GSM mobile networks in the region. You will develop and implement a road map of activity involving technical operations as well as assume full Capex/ Opex budget responsibilities.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have

• Proven track record in Radio, Transmission, BSC & MSC elements and Ericsson/ Huawei GSM networks
• Prior leadership experience preferably in a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) capacity
• Prior experience in development, implementation and optimization of GSM networks
• Prior experience developing strategy and roadmaps with full budgetary responsibility
• Degree/ Diploma in Telecommunication or Engineering
