About Our Client
Our client is a multi national organization that specializes in creating and managing logistics solutions for businesses throughout NZ and abroad. Their focus on client delivery through excellent customer service and operational efficiency make them a competitive player in the New Zealand market. An exciting opportunity has developed for a high performing Sales Manager to join this ever growing business.
As the Sales Manager you will report directly to the Country Manager and be responsible for managing their national sales business which includes the following key areas;
- Achieving new business sales revenue, gross profit targets and other key objectives as assigned.
- Identify growth opportunities and retention strategies for existing client base.
- Oversee development of sales and account management staff.
- Coordination of business analysis projects to provide value to existing and prospective clients.
- Commitment to building and enhancing supplier relationships.
The Successful Applicant
You will need proven experience in sales leadership roles within the wider transport and logistics industry. key areas of skills and experience you will demonstrate include:
- Proven track record in sales within a supply chain and logistics environment.
- Experience in solution based sales.
- Strong leadership skills building/leading teams and developing people.
- Ability to develop multi-level relationships and engage with all key stakeholders across an organization.
- Reach sales targets to ensure team expansion
- Communicating and influencing at all times.
